Jamaica Plain Renovation

What began as a design for a new kitchen, evolved into a more comprehensive renovation and restoration of this 1910 Italianate home located near Jamaica Pond. New life was given to the structure through much needed repairs. Many modifications that had been made over the years were sorted out to return the home to it’s original glory. The new kitchen was designed to maximize daylight and views to the backyard and an improved connection and flow to the dining room. An existing rear entry area was reconfigured to optimize pantry storage and provide a half bath. Renovations on the second and third floor included adjustments to improve bathroom layouts, a new dressing room, office and laundry.
